I had been on the edge of my school sports team for three years, without breaking through. I was pretty sick of sitting on the sidelines, watching my mates take all the glory for my school while I missed out on the excitement and I missed out on the girls. Everyone knew that the jocks got the girls, and I wasn’t quite a jock!
